Why specialist care matters
The right training for each treatment. A root canal in a curved molar, a gum graft, an implant with a sinus lift and a child’s first filling each call for different skills. Each is done by the specialist who trained for it.
One plan, one clinic. When your treatment involves more than one specialist, such as straightening before veneers, or gum treatment before an implant, they plan it together, so you don’t have to coordinate between clinics.
Clear explanations. Whoever treats you explains what they found and your options, and gives you a written plan and estimate before treatment starts.

Questions patients ask us
What is the difference between a dentist and a dental specialist?
Every dentist completes a BDS degree. A specialist then completes further training in one branch, most often a three-year master's degree (MDS), and focuses on that area, such as root canals, gums, braces or implants. At Petal Smiles, your treatment is matched to the specialist trained for it.
Which dental specialist should I see?
You don't need to work it out yourself. Book a check-up or consultation, tell us what's bothering you, and you'll see the right specialist. If you already know what you need, mention it when you book.
Do I need a referral to see a specialist?
No. All our specialists work at the clinic, and you can book with them directly.
Which specialist treats gum disease?
A periodontist, the specialist in gums and the bone that holds the teeth. Our periodontist treats bleeding gums, gum disease, receding gums and loose teeth.
Who places dental implants?
At Petal Smiles, prosthodontist Dr. Adish Chaudhary plans every implant and designs the teeth on top, and our implantologist handles complex surgery such as bone grafting and sinus lifts.
